This was one of my ambitious final projects in my motion graphics class. I used the characters Draculaura, Frankie Stein, and Clawdeen from Monster High. I first drew the characters and made sure each part the I wanted to move was on its own layer. I then took all these parts and reassembled each character in Adobe After Effects. I created a simple animation rig on the characters. This essentially allowed me to move the characters like a puppet, as each separated part would be movable, such as limbs. I animated them in a looping pose that demonstrated their character’s traits and personality. I also made a background that “popped” up similar to my postcard animation and had a looping animation of the sky. Then, I uploaded each individual animation and put them together as a playable video in Adobe Premiere with music.
