In my class focused on User Experience Design for Games, my team and I created a physical controller for the online game: “Fireboy and Watergirl” (we did not create the game, just the controller). It features two controller pads for each player (2) to use and are touch sensitive, which requires the the players to wear a wristband so that the touch pads can detect the person player.
There is a main console in-between the two controllers where the MakeyMakey microcontroller and wiring resides. This controller allows players to have a bigger, better spaced, and more comfortable way of controlling the characters rather than being limited to the keyboard of a laptop.
